Re: Hello and Welcome « Result #1 on Oct 20, 2007, 10:08pm »
Update 10/20/07: I wanted a message board here years ago, but had no idea how to start one. I found out about proboards from other boards I often visited and sent a link to Mike. He was kind enough to start one and give me some say so and power to add to it and change it. He also added forums that I had wanted to see. Now that he is gone, I have taken over and you may likely notice several changes already in the board, forums etc. I also changed his administrator account display name to ECUMC Webmaster(s). As noted in the signature, the posts prior to 10/20/07 are from him personally. Although I have given myself the same basic privileges and powers now that he had, and will do as much as I can under my name, I kept his account opened because there are certain things only the board "owner" can do. However, if we wishes to drop in and post, he will need to sign up under a different name and email address since I changed the password to something I can remember.
Any changes prior to 10/20/07 could be blamed on Mike or I , but anything during or after the same date would likely be me although I am not the only one with access to it. Just be kind if there are any problems.
I want to thank Mike again for starting this out and for all of his work here. I wish him the best at his new job in a new state and I also hope we can do great things on this board.

Hello to all Just a reminder to all that if you wish to post to a forum you will need to have an account on this board. It is quite simple to set-up a membership and only requires a valid E-Mail address.

Re: Can't log into Tech Committee section « Result #3 on Jun 7, 2006, 4:39pm »
I just fixed the Protected Fourm "Tech committee" so it no longer needs a password. Now only staff members are able to view/post in it. Currently only Myself and the Global Moderaters are considered Staff.

Re: Day Light Savings time « Result #5 on Jun 21, 2005, 10:19pm »
They did do some upgrading to this board a little while back. I think I had to sign up again at the time.
As far as Daylight savings time, I am not big for it either. I realize we were in the minority, but I don't know that it will make businesses a lot more profitable. I suppose there is a little inconvenience if dealing with a company on a different time and having to wait for them to open, but I would much rather they deal with the inconvenience than to have to switch clocks twice a year and adjust schedules because of it. I would rather leave it as it is.

I don't know about you but I am not happy about going to DLST I mean why switch time, it was just fine as it was. Really how can switching create more jobs and make the state more money. Really it is an hour of time that is just gonna mess with our sleep. oh well FYI this topic came to mind because I am trying to make sure the time of the board is the same as the curent time here.

Glad you made it over here Mark. I think this could be a great place for many uses, once it is going and promoted. Even if it is slower to start, as more get into technology we would already be established.

Thanks for the welcome. I've just been able to login and things seem to be working well. I hope this forum can be used more as time goes by and others become familiar with it. Thank you for helping so much with all of this!

To all with Questions! « Result #9 on Feb 5, 2005, 2:22pm »
Hello. In case you are having problems or just don't know what is going on here, we have provided this fourm so that you can get answers to your questions.
Just ask away.... Oh if your question is "How do I post on this silly thing?" Here is the answer First you must become a member, to do that scroll to the top of the screen, At the top right hand side of the screen it says "Login or Register" Click on Register and fill out the form, just the basic information is all we ask. Once you are registered you can Login, Just click the Login rear endon at the top right hand side of the screen and enter the user name you choose when you registered and the password that you entered. Once you are logged in you now have the ability to post messages. Just click the "New Thread" rear endon, type your message and then click the post rear endon.
So good luck and remember, "No question, is a dumb question".

Want to Moderate or got an idea! « Result #10 on Feb 5, 2005, 2:08pm »
Hey there if you want to help Moderate or have an idea send me a private message on the board and I'll see what I can do. I can't promise that everyone who asks will get what they want but I'll see if your ideas are applicable, and we have need for it.
